Aaron Dorfman, LCSW

Introducing Aaron Dorfman, a licensed clinician in the state of Colorado and Pennsylvania. Aaron's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California: Santa Cruz (go banana slugs!) and a Master's in Social Work from Hunter College: City University of New York. Originally hailing from Los Angeles, he relocated to New York City in 2012, embarking on a year of volunteer service with Americorps at a homeless shelter and anti-gun violence organization.

In 2015, Aaron secured his initial social work license, marking the beginning of a career that spans various clinical settings, including outpatient programs, nursing homes, hospitals, and managed care organizations. With over 10+ years of experience in the mental health field, Aaron has honed his expertise working with high-risk adolescents and adults.

Thanks to his diverse training in evidence-based therapeutic practices, Aaron is well-equipped to assist individuals and couples grappling with challenges such as:
